This is my first big flat screen TV. My last TV was purchased in 1996. I have Dish Network without HD. I purchased an antenna to get local channels that have HD and it is excellent. I also purchased the Sony Blue Ray Disc player and the movies looked great. The sound is better than I thought it would be for a flat screen, but I think I will get a sound bar or some kind of surround sound system, but It is really good just the way it is.

I am happy with my Blu-ray 3D player. This is the first time I ever transitioning from traditional DVD to Blu-ray and to top it off 3D. This player might not be a big deal for others who have Blu-ray experience but to me the features and quality of the player are amazing. it was pretty easy to install, pretty much plug and play with my 55

I'm very happy with this TV. I use it with a variety of inputs including DirecTV, blu-ray, Apple TV as well as internet tv included. It all works and looks great. I control it with my logitech harmony remote with no issues. I also use the digital audio out to control the sound going to my home theater receiver and that works with no problems. I really like how they did the internet tv portion. I have seen that part updated as I've used the tv. It's good to see that the internet applications receive updates. I also like that I can have different video settings per input. Very nice TV. Have not tried 3d yet.
